Simplicity is the Order of the Day
Why do we humans have to make everything so complicated, it is just ridiculous. I don't believe for a second that things need to be so complex. We over analyze everything and over react to everything else, we all just need to calm down and realize that things would be so much simpler if we just let them be. Chill pill anyone?

I love Polka dots...and Tiaras
I just love when I get so pathetic that I am checking my phone every two seconds just to make sure that the ringer wasn't broken and that I didn't miss a call. I love days like this. Where I just wanted someone to call me so bad that every little noise that even vaguely resembled my ringer made my heart beat just a little faster. But of course no one called. Eh, life goes on. I should be used to it, there are many days where no one calls...but then again I don't usually call people either. Such is life.
I have been putting off doing my wash for quite some time now. So finally today I broke down and just went a bought new underwear. They are very cute with polka dots and all things cute. I was very pleased with this purchase.
Gosh I love being a college student. There is something new that challenges me each new day, and the way I handle things changes everyday as well. I broke out of my shell last weekend and I went to a party that I didn't really know anyone at. It was freaking awesome, and I met a lot of cool people. I never realized that I had such social capabilities, and to think all of my life I have been trying so hard to be anti-social. If I had only known what I know now in high school, I could have been the freaking prom queen.....just what I always wanted!

No Epiphany Required
I think I just realized why I don't post very often. It is because I don't think that I really have anything good to write about. So I end up waiting months for an epiphany that never comes. But really every day I have thoughts and experience things that are more than worthy to make it onto my blog. Like today for instance I was sitting in class when this girl with an unfortunate looking knitted sweater in a fluorescent puke color walked in. She just so happen to sit in the seat in front of me so all during class I had to be blinded by this sweater. The more unfortunate thing was that she had a hat on that was a golden yellow, and just didn't go with the puke sweater. I thought of offering to give her fashion lessons, or at least teach her how to match colors. It is thoughts like these that give people the impression that I am a brat, but really I am the funniest person I know.
I mean how many people do you know that own silver shoes that look like ballerina slippers?

So I am aware that is has been nearly a year since I have posted, but I feel it is time to start anew. I am not going to rehash everything that has happened in my life since last February because honestly a lot has happened and those who know me know what has happened and those who don't can have the joy of getting to know the person I have become because of those events.
Today I am in a writing mood and so perhaps that is the reason I got the urge to begin blogging once again. I don't really think that anyone really reads my blog, but that is okay because I just enjoy getting things out of my brain and into some form of written word. For me to be able to see what I am thinking helps me to make sense of the world. Well the writing mood just past and my thoughts have been dried up so the only thing I have left to say is that I love shoes.

Doh Blah Dee, Doh Blah Da
Well I do declare Life Goes On, and Boy am I glad it does. Stalker status has decreased dramatically (it is about freaking time), and I am currently employed! I play soccer whenever I can and I am generally healthy and happy! That is all.

Opera and a Sign From Above
For Christmas I got a palm, and the other day I was registering it and all that jazz, and there was this offer for two free audio books (to be downloaded to my palm). I was browsing the books to choose from and I came across "He's Just Not That Into You." I was so excited because I had seen the guy who wrote this book on Opera (now don't get the wrong impression of me I hardly ever watch Opera, this was probably the first time in a year), and I heard him talking about his book and it sounded really interesting. So I downloaded it and I have been listening to it the last couple of days. I am not saying that it is the best book and that you all need to go buy it because you shouldn't. I got the whole jest of the book from the first chapter, and it was good information. I just don't think that it should have been made into a whole book, or at least not as long of one. But it has made me really understand guys better, and it totally makes sense. So all of this is just a intro for my story, or rather my one good thought for the day.
So I have this stalker guy who won't leave me alone, and on Monday I saw him in my Anatomy class, the first class of the day for the new semester, it was not a good start. So as soon as I see him walk into this large lecture hall (350 seats) I promptly dropped my head and started reading the syllabus and all the other crap the teacher had for everyone. A minute or so later I see familiar sneakers walk in front of me, I felt like swearing, but I didn't I kept my cool and kept pretending I was reading. I didn't dare look over for fear he might see me see him, and I couldn't have that, because then I might have to talk to him or something. I finally looked up when the teacher started talking, and I could see far enough out of my peripheral vision to tell that he wasn't too close to me, which was really good. After the lecture was over I got out as soon as I could and didn't look back until I was in the safe confines of the library (I have never ran into him there, it is my safe haven).
Next day, Tuesday, I go to anatomy with no sighting of my stalker. I breathed a sigh of relief and thought that maybe he wasn't able to add the class so he just stopped coming. WRONG!! Today, Wednesday, I am in class early and am minding my own business, when I glanced up across the room and saw the tall, black coated stalker. Just my luck. I opened my textbook and started reading. Sure enough thirty seconds later sneakers walk by. I really almost began to cry this time, and even worse, there were only two seats in between us. I could smell him and it was making me sick, if there would have been seats open I so would have moved.
As the teacher was still talking I started to pack things up and left before the teacher could finish uttering "we will finish this up tomorrow." Three minutes later I was in the library getting ready to type my friend an e-mail that I had thought up while I was holding back my tears. "She's Just Not That Into You!" It was perfect, I decided that I was going to write a pamphlet or something not as long as a book, with my brilliant title. I merrily typed the e-mail to my friend including the events of the week.
As soon as I finish my pamphlet I am going to mail my stalker a copy. Anonymously of course, I don't want to be too mean....Or for him to know my address.

A Life Worth Living
Finally it is all over, I have made it through and I am still alive. And yet I am more than alive, I am for once in my life living. It is a great feeling, except living does not entail what I had imagined it would. I have fallen back into my old routines which I thought I left at the beginning of the semester. Today my first day of freedom was spent wandering aimlessly around salt lake, watching TV, and eating swedish fish. This doesn't sound like freedom to me, this sounds pathetic. In my head I had all of these great ideas of thing I could do with my time. Things like going Christmas shopping, stopping by my crushes place of work, knitting hats to wrap presents in, and getting my final back from my gay teacher (literally). But no. Out of all of the things I wanted to do, I accomplished one of them, which to no real accomplishment was the latter. It was fun however to bid my gay teacher good-bye and wish him a happy holiday which he will most likely spend in his foreign land with his foreign "room-mate," but that is an entirely different story by itself. And once again I am back to me being crappy with having free time. Tomorrow, I am bound and determined, is going to be different. I am going to go, and do and be an accomplished member of this here society!
Oh and another thing, is it a bad sign when your crush calls you kidd-o?

Give the Brain a Rest
The stress is finally beginning to lift. After today I will have finished this semester of school, which I might say was my hardest yet. You would think that a class named "General" chemistry would not be too hard, well a word to the wise, it is super hard. I have never studied so much for one class in my life. Speaking of which I really should be studying for my final in that class which is in an hour, but i figure that I will be taking a test for two hours as it is. If I study for an hour before as well my brain just very well may shut down. Dang now I have made myself guilty because I am not studying I will fiinish this tomorrow after my finals are done with...Until then cheers!

It's me
How about we start with the basics. I am a girl. Or rather a Woman, but I prefer not to think of myself as a woman because of all the implications it brings. Women are mothers who wear their hair short and wear long skirts, and who stress about the wrinkles that are forming on their face. By no means does any of this describe me, so unless someone can convince me otherwise I will consider myself a girl. I am 19 years of age and am attending a University in my home state. I am a junior studying to be an Exercise Physiologist. I am a person who likes to have fun and love to laugh. I have discovered that I have about five different laughs that I use regularly, and for anyone who knows me can back me up on that.
I play soccer, and I LOVE it anywhere and everywhere. I would by no means call myself a professional, but that doesn't stop me from playing with people who think that they are. I also run...In fact my along with 5 other members of my family ran a marathon in my hometown. It was an awesome experience!! In fact it was so awesome I am planning on running it again next year. Don't get me wrong it hurt like heck, but I have never had such a feeling of accomplishment. So if there is anyone out there who needs to feel accomplished a marathon is totally the way to go...Besides people are really impressed when they hear that you have run a marathon.
I am an outdoorsy person, I love hiking, camping, boating, and just plain being outside. I love observing nature, especially sunrises and sunsets, as well as cool looking trees, and anything with cool colors.
Well you probably know more about me than you ever cared about, but what can I say that is just who I am!!
