Too much Fun

Yesturday I hiked Mt. Timpanogos. It was an interesting experience for me. While I was doing it I just wanted to kill myself because it was such a long and hard hike. Today I am not too sore and I could probably be talked into doing it again. It was a beautiful hike and I really did like it most of the time, but going into the whole thing I thought the hike was a total of 12 miles. Come to find out it was 12 miles each way. Unfortunately we didn't find this out until we were a couple of miles in already. The highlights were 1- being on top of the second tallest peak in Utah and being able to see some beautiful sights 2- seeing some fun wildlife including moose and mountain goats 3- being able to slide down a 50 ft snow slide 4- hiking with some fun people and 5- being able to prove to myself that I am stronger than what I give myself credit for. The lowlights were 1- being so tired that I couldn't control the movements of my legs 2- getting nice and sunburned and 3- hiking for 9 hours. So I suppose there were more good things that came of the hike than bad.

I will have to post some pictures later because one of the other hikers has them all. When we went to take the first pictures I found out my batteries were dead, a fellow hiker found out his camera was being weird, and the other fellow hiker found out his memory was full. So between my memory card, anothers batteries, and anothers camera we were able to make up one camera and take some fun pictures, but it means that I don't have any of them right now. I will post them when they are sent along to me.

Looking up the canyon...still a long ways to the top.

View from the timpy top (haha timpy instead of tippy...well at least I thought it was funny)

On the way down we slid down this snow...it was freaking awesome, but really cold
